Elvis is a 2004 gelding, by Coconino Sioux, and out of Miss WDX Snippette. That
makes him a full brother to Max, and half-brother to Banjo, so babysitting and
performance are in his blood. I started him in the spring of 2007, and after a few
rides he got in the way of one of tougher horses, and was kicked in the ribs. I turned
him out to heal up, and the videos you see here document his progress as we picked
right up where we left off this fall. Elvis is now in training on the barrels in Flower
Mound TX, with Jennifer Zeller at Streakin Iron Barrel Horses. I rode with Jennifer
last summer and I was very impressed with how "broke" all of her horses were. A
chance to get her on one of our colts came up, so I jumped at it. Elvis is in the best of
